Faith Movers Academy is located on 425 Exchange St., University Park, IL 60484 on the campus of Faith Movers Church.

The school day begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m.

Yes, all Faith Movers Academy scholars must wear a school-issued uniform shirt that can be purchased for $10 for short sleeve and $13 for long sleeve from the school and navy blue bottoms (skirts, pants, shorts) that can be purchased from any store.

Discounts will be applied for Faith Movers Church members, faculty, staff, and multiple siblings.

Faith Movers Academy’s goal is to empower our scholars to excel in skills and content mastery; therefore, our scholars are evaluated on a standards-based grading system. Standard-based grading allows scholars, parents, and teachers to identify areas of strength and support immediately. It is also specific and aids in the development of practical goals for scholar growth. Report cards will be distributed quarterly with the standards, key, and grades.

Several areas of academic accountability will be utilized to measure the academic progress of every scholar. Faith Movers Academy uses MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) to identify areas of scholar strength and weakness as well as growth over the course of the year. The MAP affords us the ability to see how our scholars measure against others who are in their same grade level across the country. Formative and summative assessments will be used throughout the school year and academic data will be tracked and reviewed with parents throughout the year to ensure that all scholars are on track.

Lunch is provided to all PreK scholars as part of their weekly tuition. For scholars in K-Elementary Grades, lunch will be provided at an additional cost: Lunch is $3.50

For the 2024-2025 school year Faith Movers Academy will serve grades Kindergarten-3rd

Technology is an integral component of our learning culture and student engagement. Scholars will be utilizing technology in multiple ways to enhance their daily experience. Our goal is to have one-to-one device usage throughout the school.

All scholars, parents, faculty and staff will receive and review the Scholar Code of Cooperation which contains a clear policy FMA’s stance on behavior, discipline and restoration.

One of the greatest strengths in establishing Faith Movers Academy is our dedication to work as a family to empower and support every facet of our scholars’ lives. Our program is designed is to offer a range of skills from academics, to career interests, social and emotional health, and God-given spiritual gifts.

Faith Movers Academy is an extension of Faith Movers Church and is non-denominational. We are a Bible-based and Christ-Centered academy. We welcome all faiths to consider our learning environment.

No. You do not have to me a member of Faith Movers Church to enroll.

Faith Movers Academy will work toward the process of accreditation with global and national organizations. Additionally, we identify the most successful research-based practices in conducting performance audits and accountability.

No, you do not have to become a member of Faith Movers Church for your child to enroll. You are always welcome to join us in worship.

Grade placement is determined by each scholar’s previous school experience and grades. A placement team may be used on case-by-case basis.
